The phrase “Welcome to Liverpool” also found itself among the Saints’ list of muted words, which is a funny reference to the European champions pinching the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mane from St. Mary’s in recent years.
It will not be fun and games when Southampton take to the King Power pitch, though, as they look for revenge following that 9-0 demolition. The likes of Jamie Vardy and Ayoze Perez were in truly rampant form that day, both grabbing hat-tricks, and could prove to be two of the Foxes’ danger men once again.
