da mrbet: The new 2019/20 season has already been a trying one for Real Madrid.
da 888casino: Ever since he returned to the Santiago Bernabeu, Zinedine Zidane has been working extremely hard to steady a ship that was bound to hit an iceberg. And hit it it did – multiple times.
The first four games were nothing short of a true rollercoaster ride for the Galacticos; they beat Celta Vigo 3-1 on matchday one but then drew with Valladolid and Villarreal, before bouncing back with a 3-2 win over Levante at the weekend.
Their defensive mishaps have become a problem; they have yet to keep a clean sheet in La Liga.
Zidane also acknowledged it after their scrappy victory over Levante last weekend. Los Blancos cruised in a fabulous first half, scoring three goals in quick succession without any reply from their visitors. It finally looked like they would simply ease to victory.
Levante had other ideas, though, and scored twice in the second half, almost completing a miraculous comeback in the process.
Still, when everything is said and done, a lot can and will be attributed to their constant injury troubles.
Bodies in white colours seem to be falling on a daily basis and even now, Real Madrid have a total of five players sidelined, including Marcelo and Luka Modric.
For those reasons, the trip to Parc des Princes on Wednesday night will be the first true test of the new season for both Zidane and his troops, regardless of who’s ready for the clash and who’s not. And one player, in particular, could be vital – Eder Militao.
The young 21-year-old centre-back was bought this summer from Porto and only made his official debut last weekend against Levante. But that was just the introduction, and on Wednesday, the still fresh defender will be thrown out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Both Sergio Ramos and Nacho are serving suspensions in the Champions League, meaning that the only player capable of forming a centre-back tandem with Raphael Varane is Militao.
Last weekend, he played the first 31 minutes of his Real Madrid career and on Wednesday he’ll have to play the full 90 minutes on the biggest stage of them all.
Clearly, he’s got some huge shoes to fill and that truly looks to be a baptism by fire.
He did show signs of promise on his debut: calm on the ball, quick to react and secure in defence – traits not easily associated with Real’s defence thus far this season.
In his first 31 minutes, Militao registered 100% passing accuracy, two clearances and one cross. By all standards, not much to speak of but definitely a decent start for the young defender. Still, heading into the mammoth clash that is on the horizon, there will be no room for mistakes, at all.
Since he’s new and inexperienced, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that PSG just might target him as Real’s weak spot in a shaky backline. For that reason, Militao may have to have the game of his life.
There’s so much to lose but there’s also a whole lot to win in this scenario. The thought that the outcome of the game might rest solely on the performance of a 21-year-old who’s only played 31 minutes for his new team so far is a worrying one.
But you know what they say – fortune favours the brave, and on Wednesday, Militao will need all the bravery he can muster.
