da betsul: Crystal Palace fans have been hit with both barrels this week with the announcement of Julian Speroni’s imminent departure, closely followed by the news that Jason Puncheon will follow the veteran goalkeeper out the door this summer.
Puncheon has hardly featured under Roy Hodgson and was loaned out to Huddersfield in January, with the number 42 in search of game-time, although it turns out he won’t be coming back to Selhurst Park.
The versatile midfielder served as captain while Sam Allardyce was in charge and epitomised the fighting spirit that the Eagles found under the former England boss, being a local lad as well as a Palace fan.
