da luck: Borussia Monchengladbach star Granit Xhaka has confirmed his desire to make a move to England amid interest from Liverpool, according to reports from talkSPORT.
da stake casino: Xhaka has been heavily linked with a move away from the Borussia Park in recent months, with the likes of Juventus and Bayern Munich also keen on the defensive midfielder.
However, the 23-year-old has his mind set on making a move to the Premier League, boosting the Reds’ chances of luring Xhaka over at the end of the season.
“Everybody has a childhood dream, and for me it is England,” he told Sport1.de.
“That doesn’t mean that I have to or would like to go there – I’m extremely happy here and everything suits me down to the ground – but you do have to take a look around and talk with the club.
“Gladbach have given me everything I wanted and this has become a second home for me.”
The Swiss international is not trying to force a move though, claiming that he is only focused on his football rather than his future, which is up to his agent and his current club.
“I don’t know if it will become an issue,” he said. “It’s not up to me, but my club.
“My task is to focus on my football. For as long as I am here, I want to give 100%, the rest will be done by my club and my agent.
“It really isn’t the case that I desperately want to leave. Everything would really have to come together [for that to happen].”
A transfer for Xhaka will be costly, with Gladbach valuing their captain between £23 – £38million if he is to depart.
The former Basel star has made 26 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals.
